Euphoric, he stood in the hospital corridor
Holding me as I threw my tantrums galore!
PTA meetings, admission lines, shopping blues, He’s seen it all.
Against my hysteria, rebellion, ignorance and blows did he stand tall.
Needs of life he never let me know anyhow
For he was always my “Mr.U-want-something, I-give-it-to-u-now.”
I remember how he taught me fractions that made me whole
And bade me to treasure faith, love and hope in my soul!
Appa, I love you and as I see you each day here, I pray to my Big man in Heaven,
To watch over you and bless you by the dozen!!!
HAPPY FATHERS’ DAY!!!
